WP 2FA – Two-factor authentication for WordPress plugin for WordPress には、2.5.0 までのすべてのバージョンにおいて、Cross-Site Request Forgery の脆弱性があります。これは、send_backup_codes_email 関数の nonce バリデーションが欠落しているか、正しくないことが原因です。これにより、認証されていない攻撃者は、サイト管理者や他の登録ユーザを騙してリンクをクリックするなどのアクションを実行させることができるように、偽造されたリクエストを経由して任意の内容のメールを登録ユーザに送信することが可能になります。nonceチェックは存在するが、nonceが設定されている場合にのみ実行される。リクエストから nonce を省略することで、チェックを回避することができる。
解決方法
バージョン2.6.0、またはパッチが適用された新しいバージョンにアップデートする。
